Online Meeting on Gender Equality and Youth Employability Organized by the Deputy Secretary General of the International Organization of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS) for the Latin American and Caribbean Region
WILLEMSTAD - On August 24, 2023, the Deputy Secretary General of the International Organization of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS), under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council of Curaçao, for the Latin American and Caribbean region, conducted a highly important online meeting focused on the role of ECOSOCs and SIs in promoting gender equality and enhancing youth employability in the region.
The meeting featured the prominent presence and active participation of the President and the Secretary General of AICESIS, along with the representative from the regional office of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and delegates from 15 countries in the region.
During the course of this meeting, high-level presentations related to the central theme were delivered, offering a deep and detailed insight into the significance of these issues in the current context.
