The General Secretary of AICESIS wishes you happy end of the year celebrations, and a happy new year 2018. It also thanks all of its members for their efforts and strong implication in AICESIS’ activities along 2017. 2018 will be full of events and initiatives, with implementation of the Presidency roadmap and the SG program of action.

A call for applications has been sent to all AICESIS members to nominate a Rapporteur.

International joint conference AICESIS-ILO in cooperation with the Greek OKE on the Future of Work

AICESIS Board and workshop. As part of the development of the AICESIS Presidency Roadmap, issues will be addressed during the Board (reports are under development): action procedures to promote AICESIS membership and to create new ESCs, preparation of the next exchange of experiences, update of the AICESIS Articles, improvement of internal communication

Death on 19 November in Paris (France) of Mr Moussa MOUMOUNI DJERMAKOYE, President of CESOC following an illness. The burial took place on 23 November in Dosso (Niger).

In September 2017, the government of Albania was composed. The Ministry of Finance and Economy, host of the National Labor Council, now covers industrial relations, social dialogue and relations with the ILO. Minister Arben AHLETAJ is the new President of the National Labor Council.
